Reflexology
Reflexology dates back to ancient times and is based on the principle that there are reflex points in the head, hands and feet that correspond to all parts of the body including glands, organs and systems. Its popularity has increased in modern times due mainly to the invention of proper footwear and hard surfaces such as concrete and pavement. When people walked barefoot on natural surfaces they gave the reflexes on their feet a natural workout. Wearing shoes and walking on hard surfaces deprives us of this needed workout for our reflexes. Reflexology has also been known as Zone therapy, Reflex therapy, Spot therapy and Compression massage. During a session, a client lies on table clothed with bare feet. Reflexes on the head, hands and feet are stimulated. Benefits
